Gary Mitchell is the Vice President of Veeam Software for Australia and New Zealand. An experienced IT executive, Gary has led a number of sales and operational support teams across Asia‑Pacific and Japan regions to great success. Previously, Gary has held many C‑level titles, which include Director of Perfecto Mobile (APJ), Director of Aveska’s Identity Access Management Division (APJ) and Country Manager (ANZ) at BMC Software. In his current role, Gary specialises in turnaround and high growth business ventures. He has extensive experience in managing medium‑sized organisations, as well as generating hyper‑growth for start‑ups. With Gary leading operations across the ANZ region, Veeam has grown at a rate five times the market average

Nathan Steiner

Nathan Steiner, Head of Systems Engineering ANZ, Veeam

Nathan is a technology expert with over 25 years industry experience at the forefront of digital transformation, innovation and infrastructure transformation. Nathan is currently Head of Systems Engineering at Veeam. In this role, Nathan helps customers to intelligently manage their data to improve business outcomes. Nathan is focused on the alignment of strategic business goals with technology strategy and execution plans. He has championed numerous product development strategies, go‑to‑market tactics and enhanced regional revenue growth. With extensive experience in technology, Nathan specialises in a variety of areas, including mainframe security, infrastructure transformation, virtualisation, networking, mobility desktop and application virtualisation, data protection, data availability and cloud. As a key opinion leader, Nathan often provides commentary for major Australian newspapers including the Daily Telegraph.

Nelson Simao

Nelson Simao, Senior Systems Engineer ANZ, Veeam

Nelson joined Veeam in September 2011 and is the regional senior systems engineer for Australia & New Zealand. He is part of a team of technical experts who work with Veeam’s partners and customers to realise the benefits of Veeam’s software solutions. As part of the SE team, Nelson works hand in hand with Veeam’s partner community providing training and assistance as necessary to drive sales results

David Hill

David Hills, Cloud Systems Engineer ANZ, Veeam

David joined Veeam in early 2017 and works with Commercial and Service Provider customers across New Zealand and the South Pacific. With a background in Security and Networking, David works closely with IT Operations and Architecture teams to develop secure and scalable Data Protection Strategies.
